3 Budget-Friendly Boredom Busters for Kids this Summer

With the kids out of school and a limited budget, you’re probably thinking about how to entertain the family this summer. Put on the sunscreen and check out some home-based and budget-friendly ideas you can do in your own backyard:

Backyard Camping

No need to send your kids to summer camp when you can have a backyard camping free of charge. The kids still get an outdoor experience. To liven it up, let the kids have a fun treat like Ooey Gooey Peanut Butter Smores Dip.

Water games

Wouldn't it be fun to have a splash pad in your yard? The greatest summer pleasure is playing in the water. Kids can blow outdoor bubbles or use a sprinkler and let them splash in the backyard. They could also play water balloon dodge ball.

Picnic

Create a picnic outside in the comfort of your own backyard and include some energy-boosting peanut recipes. Simply make some Grilled Peanut Butter & Banana Sandwiches and a Blueberry Peanut Smoothie  spread out a blanket on the lawn and you're ready to have a special picnic!

These ideas will get the kids out of the house and help create lasting summer memories!
