Active time: 30 minutes

For the apple bacon jam:

Grill chopped bacon and reserve one to two tablespoons of bacon grease. Add onions and apples, cooking until translucent.  Add in brown sugar and bacon, letting it simmer until caramelized. Stir frequently and season with salt and pepper to taste.

For the hamburger patties:

Melt cheese on top. Grill three to four minutes per side, or follow package instructions. Spread the creamy peanut butter on the buns. Top the hamburger patty with bacon jam and the peanut butter bun. Serve with fries or fruit.
Hint: The peanut butter buns taste even better grilled, but only four seconds per side on the grill.
