
Dark leafy greens, and brightly colored berries and fruit fill the shelves at farmers markets in the summer. But as you load your basket with that amazing produce, you might wonder what to do with all of these Superfoods. Here’s a suggestion: pair them with peanuts!
Peanuts are also a Superfood with 30 vitamins and minerals, so combining them with other nutrient-dense produce creates a nutritional powerhouse! We wanted to start the season of Superfoods off right, so we took note from Dr. Julia Nordgren’s kale and peanut vinaigrette cooking video, and asked her and @PeanutRD to join us in a #PeanutPower Superfoods Twitter Party hosted by blogger Liz of Lizventures.com (@BlueViolet) to discuss bringing together peanuts and other Superfoods.
