
Nov. 16, 2020 – ATLANTA – USDA will swear in 13 farmer-leaders at the National Peanut Board’s quarterly board meeting Dec. 1 -3, 2020. Members and alternates were appointed to the National Peanut Board earlier this year by Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue.
Also, NPB will elect 2021 officers who will be instated in the roles of chairman, vice-chairman, treasurer and secretary. Their terms run from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2021. Current officers are Peter Froese, Jr. (Texas), chairman; Andy Bell (Ga.), vice-chairman; Les Crall (Okla.), treasurer; and Paul Rogers II (Va.), secretary.
