How Peanut Butter Helps in Natural Disaster Relief

Natural disasters are a time for everyone to come together and help those in need. Everyday basics that we often take for granted, like shelter, clean clothing and safe food and water, become top priorities for thousands.

Food banks are often in need of peanut butter and the need is even greater after disasters. Peanut butter is a top choice during these times because it’s energy-dense, nutritious, easy to eat and doesn’t require refrigeration. During times of community hardship, consider donating peanut butter, bottled water and other necessities to your local food bank and outreach organizations.
