November 8, 2016 – ATLANTA – The National Peanut Board has scheduled its quarterly Board and committee meetings for December 6-7 at the Renaissance Washington, D.C. Dupont Circle Hotel. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the American Peanut Council’s Winter Conference Dec. 7 and 8.
“For FY-17, we will continue to build on the successful launch of the Peanut Vendor to inspire millennials to connect emotionally with peanuts,” said Bob Parker, National Peanut Board’s president and CEO. “Our marketing plan includes mobilizing influencers to share their love of peanuts, playing a significant role in disseminating information about early introduction of peanut to infants and expanding our business development efforts by creating more opportunities for millennials in the retail, college dining and restaurant space; among other strategic goals.”
Also, new officers will be elected and instated, with terms running from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2017.
