This quarter we planted another batch of peanut plants in a sand/topsoil mixture. They are currently 40DAP and are ready for VOC collection. To better understand the working conditions of the SBSE stir-bars we are utilizing a bell jar set up. This will provide information about how the SBSE reacts to a standard mixture of VOCs under various temperature, humidifies and air flow rates. Finally we have begun more in-depth analysis of the data collected over the last few years and the most recent pilot scale/24 hour collection.
