Paraquat (Gramoxone) is an effective and popular herbicide used in peanut production. Tank-mixes with other herbicides are commonly used to reduce injury to peanut and to broaden the spectrum of weeds controlled. There has been little research conducted on the effect of paraquat herbicide combinations on different peanut varieties. The objective of this project was to determine the effect of various paraquat tank-mix combinations of common herbicides on peanut injury and tolerance for multiple cultivars with different growth characteristics.
