This is the final report for the 2014 peanut project. The goal of this project is to examine the physiological responses of different peanut cultivars to water stress or drought conditions. This is the first step in identifying the surrogate traits of drought tolerance and their underlying molecular controls. This should help guide the development the desired breed of peanut varieties.
