Two high-oleic species derived breeding lines, SPT 10-0501 and SPT 10-1401, were identified as having improved yield potential and superior disease resistance. It remains to be seen of these lines have a future as cultivar releases, but they can certainly serve as parents for additional crosses hat will give rise to new releases.
