Peanut weed management trials were conducted at the Oklahoma Agricultural Experiment Station's Caddo Research Station near Fort Cobb in 2015. Heavy rains early in the season delayed planting. Additionally, 4 inches of rain within the first 14 days after planting affected stand establishment, peanut injury from herbicides and weed efficacy. Even with a late start, overall peanut yields were better than anticipated due to an open fall which allowed peanuts to continue to develop and mature.
