Our goal of this project was to work with producers showing them the website and how to use it to be beneficial to their operation. The website was set up to incorporate the research that we had conducted the past few years comparing the growing degree day model with the pod blast maturity chart. The website also took to account irrigation events and how they changed maturity. The producers like the website except for the fact that a mobile app would be easier and more accessible. The only downside for Alabama with regards to this technology is not enough weather stations scattered across the state.
