U.S. Peanut Industry Donates 62,010 Jars of Peanut Butter to Aid South Carolina Flood Victims

OCTOBER 8, 2015--ATLANTA--In response to the thousands of families affected by the devastating floods in South Carolina earlier this week, Peanut Proud, a charitable organization of the U. S. peanut industry, is partnering with peanut state grower organizations, National Peanut Board and peanut butter manufacturers to deliver 62,010 jars of donated peanut butter to a food bank in Columbia, S. C.; one of the hardest hit areas. The retail value of the donation is estimated at $180,000.

America’s Peanut Farmers & Project PB&J Make Sandwiches for New Yorkers in Need on National PB&J Day
