| Flag Waving Peanut Butter Cookies |
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation:
Combine first six ingredients. Beat until light and fluffy. Stir the dry ingredients together and add to butter mixture. Blend thoroughly. Shape into 1-inch balls and place about 2 inches apart on a baking sheet. Flatten with fork tines. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. |
