Eligibility |

- NPB employees, Board members, Board alternates and their immediate family members, employees of Busch Entertainment
Corporation and Bayer CropScience are not eligible. Immediate family includes spouses, parents and children.
- Entries may be color prints or digital images. Black and white images are not eligible.
- All entries must be of a peanut farm. Other crops are not eligible for this contest.
- Entries must be submitted by the original photographer. You must be the sole owner of the copyright of any image submitted. Your
submission of the photo and entry form is your guarantee that you are the author and copyright holder of the photo.
- Photos must be appropriate for posting on a public government website. Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will
not be considered. NPB retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content. Photos chosen that contain recognizable
people will be required to sign a model release form.
- Photos, regardless of the medium, cannot be returned, so please do not send your only copy of a photo. Photographers retain
the copyright to their photographs. By entering the contest, photographers agree to have their submitted photograph displayed on
the NPB website and in trade publications without any fee or other form of compensation.

How to Enter |

- Digital photos may be submitted using the online entry form at www.nationalpeanutboard.org/photocontest or prints may be mailed
along with completed entry forms.
- Print submissions must be 4 x 6 inches or 5 x 7 inches and must be in color. Do not send negatives. Attach a label to the back of
each print with your name and address. Do not write on the photo itself.
- Deadline: The contest ended June 15, 2008. Check back soon to find out who won!

Judging |
| |
- One winner from each category below will be chosen, of those, judges will select one grand prize winner.
1. Family Farm, 2. Best Use of Color, 3. Best Use of Natural Light, 4. Humorous. Farms can be entered into more than one
category, but can only win once.
- Judges reserve the right to determine if a photograph is appropriately categorized, and change a photograph’s category accordingly.
- Judging decisions are based on the following qualities: focus, lighting, composition, impact and storytelling.
- Photos received are reviewed by a panel of judges from the National Peanut Board staff, various state peanut organizations, and
independent marketing and public relations fi rms.

Winners |
| |
- Winners will be notifi ed approximately 10-14 days after winning entry has been selected. Winners will be informed via email or phone,
and prizes will be released within two weeks of announcement. Winning photographs, along with the photographer’s name, email
address (optional) and information about the photo, will be displayed on the NPB website and in trade publications like the Peanut
Grower magazine. No fi nancial compensation is provided to winners.
- All photos, both winning and non-winning, may also be published in all National Peanut Board print and electronic publications, and
may be featured on the contest page of the National Peanut Board’s website. Photos are reviewed by a panel of National Peanut Board
staff before posting on www.nationalpeanutboard.org.
