Grand Central Terminal Will Host Growers, Peanut Field, Product Sampling March 4 and 5

Stop by Vanderbilt Hall in Grand Central Terminal March 4 and 5 to meet American peanut farmers and sample a variety of new and favorite peanut products and recipes.  Have questions about the current product recall?  Looking for recipes and nutrition facts?  Then don’t miss this interactive and educational exhibit, which will also feature a field of peanut plants and cooking demonstrations.

You’ll have the opportunity to…

  • Walk through a peanut field – right inside Grand Central Terminal – and have your picture taken with a USA peanut farmer.
  • Learn about the peanut industry’s commitment to sustainability and agriculture
  • Sample world cuisine featuring peanuts, peanut butter and other peanut products
  • Learn about culinary innovations – including peanut flour, peanut protein powder and aromatic peanut oil.
  • Meet Food Network Chef Michael Symon, Olympic Gold Medal Winning Cyclist Kristin Armstrong and more
Participating manufacturers and producers include Hampton Farms, Mars, Moon Pie, NY Apple, Peanut Butter & Co., Planters, Smithfield Foods/The Peanut Shop of Williamsburg, Snyder’s of Hanover and Sunland, Inc.
