
March 7, 2017 – ATLANTA – The National Peanut Board has scheduled its quarterly Board and committee meetings for April 5-6, 2017, in Starkville, Miss. at the Courtyard Marriott at The Mill Conference Center, 100 Mercantile Street. The meeting will include a Grower Listening Session with an information exchange between the National Peanut Board and the Mississippi Peanut Growers Association.
Board members and alternates will tour Mississippi Agricultural and Forestry Experiment Station and interact with Associate Directors Wes Burger, Ph. D and Reuben Moore, Ph. D. Additionally, the Board will visit Birdsong Distribution Center and Buying Point in Greenwood and get an overview of Delta agronomics.
