| In this Auburn University study, conducted as part of a multi-state project under the leadership of principal investigator Dr. John Beasley, research plots were planted at the Wiregrass Research and Extension Center in Headland, Ala. Insect populations and disease incidence were monitored throughout the growing season. When the peanuts were harvested, the insect and disease data, along with the yield and grade information, were gathered and forwarded to Dr. Beasley. No further information is included on the methods, procedures, results, findings or conclusions.
