This very brief progress report provides a 2006 year-end update on research conducted by Auburn University as a component of a multi-state project. Working on research plots established at the Winegrass Research and Extension Center in Headland, Ala., the research team monitored the peanuts’ insect and disease populations, along with plant growth parameters, throughout the season. Following the harvest, the data on insect and disease incidence yield, together with grade and yield figures, were compiled and forwarded to Project Leader, Dr. John Beasley.
