The National Peanut Board (NPB)
offers to companies resources that are related to Good Manufacturing
Practices (GMP), HACCP, product specifications and analysis,
and other issues related to quality peanut products to ensure
marketplace acceptance and confidence.
The NPB also can provide
literature and information on GMP’s related to allergen
management, training and marketing communications for companies
interested in developing, processing and selling peanut products
alongside non-peanut products. In
this arena, the NPB works with an international panel of food
allergy experts, both from both research and medical fields,
whom we can access for expert advice.
The support provided by the
NPB can complement companies’ current allergen management
strategies or include development of a new allergen management
program.
